Social Media Manager (Music Artist Speciality)

Position: Artist Social Media and DSP Specialist (Social Media Manager/ Content Creator/ Social Media Growth Strategist / Meta Conversion Campaign Expert )

Salary: $700- $1000 USD / month - plus performance bonuses

Company Location: USA

Hours: full time MDT with flexibility (deliverables and results are most important)

Job Overview

As a social Media and DSP (Digital Streaming Platform) specialist, you’ll be responsible for managing client accounts, creating relevant social media content (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube / short form content, reels, carousels, captions, hashtags, profile optimization etc) as well as setting up and running meta conversion campaigns to drive targeted traffic off of social media to desired streaming platforms for engagement (streams, likes, playlist adds, follows).

Requirements

• Familiarity with the varieties, energies, and diversity of music. Music fans are encouraged to apply.

• Expert knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok, and YouTube) as well as an understanding of their algorithms and effective growth strategies.

• Short form, “thumb stopping” content creation. Video editing and a fluency in design/ aesthetics is required.

• A keen understanding of social media growth strategies and how to implement them to not only grow followers but get actual engagement - likes, comments, shares, etc.

• Hashtag research and profile optimization for each client account.

• Caption writing. It is important you have an understanding of the clients “vibe” / branding guidelines and can create captions that fit within those guidelines and capture the “voice” of the brand/ artist.

• Setting up, optimizing, and running Meta conversion campaigns for Spotify and Apple Music. (To get streams, followers, playlist adds, and song saves).

• Manage the end-to-end client delivery and achieve results based on the clients specified objectives/ goals.

Qualifications:

• A love of music.

• Proven experience as a social media manager/ content creator/ growth strategist.

• Proven experience in video editing and design.

• Proven experience in social media copywriting (captions)

• Proven experience in social media profile optimization and account growth.

• Proven experience in running successful Meta conversion campaigns.
