We seek a dynamic and experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our engineering team. As a pivotal contributor, you'll be tasked with driving our software solutions' design, development, and implementation. This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment, is passionate about building scalable and high-performance systems, and is eager to tackle complex challenges.

In this position, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our technology stack, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring the delivery of robust, secure, and innovative products. Your contributions will directly impact the growth and success of our company as you work closely with cross-functional teams to align technology development with strategic business goals.

• Design and Develop: Lead the architecture and development of software solutions, making strategic decisions that influence our technical direction.

What You Bring To The Role

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of software development experience, with a strong background in Ruby on Rails or Elixir.
• Proven experience with the development, scaling, and maintenance of distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, architectural design, and agile development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to work independently on complex issues.
• Effective communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly and concisely.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience leading projects and mentoring junior engineers.
• Familiarity with AWS
• Familiarity working with ML teams
• Experience with e-commerce pricing
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub portfolio.
