Job Summary:

The Product Manager is responsible for setting the strategy, with support from the Manager, for a portion of the buyer experience with the support from leadership. The Product Manager will work with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements while working closely with design, engineering, and product to ensure a unified experience for the customers. There are many key facets – account, browse / discovery, homepage, search, bid / buy, checkout, and many more – that all must work together to deliver the best buyer experience, while achieving key business goals. This role will research and utilize industry-leading practices and innovation to drive a part of this experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Defines product strategy with within the team to create a compelling vision to make the buyer experience user friendly, efficient, intuitive while achieving key business goals.

  • Evaluates market and consumer user experience research and results based on discovered industry trends and competitor landscapes, through conversations with the customer, data analysis and metrics.

  • Clarifies the strategy in ambiguous areas and obtains group by-in with clear and logical rationale that is in line with product area strategy and is easy to consume.

  • Leads a team to execute on strategies to deliver value to customers and the organization.

  • Reviews proposed product changes or enhancements for compliance and alignment with desired user experience design and satisfaction standards and suggests improvements.

  • Communicates with the team, product leadership, and key stakeholders frequently and effectively.

  • Actively ensures their product team is aligned and engaged.

  • Consistent, reliable ownership of the problem through to the solution within and across teams, peers, and partners.

  • Identifies risks and issues, and proactively finds solutions.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years minimum related experience and responsibilities.

  • Prior experience as a product manager or junior/associate product manager.

  • Working effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
