Remote-based employees will be expected to travel on occasion for meetings, strategy sessions, and team building events. Our offices in Beverly Hills, CA, are fully operational and accessible for anyone to use on a voluntary basis.

Job Summary

Rouse is seeking a dynamic and innovative Mobile Product Manager to join our team, primarily focusing on enhancing and expanding our mobile application offerings. The ideal candidate will inherit a robust framework from our main desktop platform, bringing critical functionalities and a subset of features to the mobile forefront. Our mobile app, known for its unique photo uploading capabilities, plays a vital role in asset management and enrichment. Recently, we've embarked on integrating more of our web app's functionalities into the mobile experience, such as asset listings and user-driven inspections. This role demands a visionary who can drive engagement, enhance user experience, and contribute to our mobile app's strategic development. With a focus on user flow and design, the Mobile Product Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Rouse's mobile presence, making it an indispensable tool for our users.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and manage the mobile product roadmap, aligning it with strategic business objectives and user needs.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and engineering, to translate business opportunities into impactful product features.

  • Lead the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring a seamless user experience and adherence to high-quality standards.

  • Drive user engagement through innovative features and functionalities, including push notifications and mobile-specific capabilities.

  • Oversee the integration of core web app features into the mobile platform, enhancing its utility and user satisfaction.

  • Engage directly with users to gather insights and feedback, incorporating them into product development to meet and exceed user expectations.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements, leveraging them to keep the mobile app competitive and cutting-edge.

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate product updates, releases, and vision effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in design or a related discipline.

  • At least 2 years of experience in digital product management, with a proven track record in mobile or e-commerce environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and execute on product strategies, with a keen eye for user experience and design.

  • Strong analytical skills, with an aptitude for setting and tracking key performance indicators and making data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical teams and business stakeholders, including direct interactions with customers.

  • Experience in agile development environments, able to translate user needs into detailed specifications and user stories.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with design and prototyping tools.
