At The CLASS Consulting Group, which stands for Community Leaders At the Service of Society, we are driven by a vision that was born in 2002: to fundamentally transform the nonprofit sector. Our founders, Deepali Sachdeva and Sudeep Kanjilal, identified a critical gap where the passion and dedication of nonprofit organizations were often hampered by a lack of management capacity. Our mission is to bridge this gap, enhancing the effectiveness of both these vital organizations and the professionals who volunteer their time and skills. We believe that by strengthening the operational foundations of nonprofits, we can unlock greater community benefits and create a more significant, measurable impact. Our entire philosophy is centered on changing the very nature of volunteerism and community contribution, moving beyond simple acts of service to create lasting, positive change in our society.
We embarked on this journey to address a two-sided problem. On one hand, we saw professionals eager to contribute their expertise in a meaningful way, yet often finding volunteer opportunities to be unfulfilling or lacking in real impact. On the other, nonprofit organizations, despite their crucial work, frequently lacked the business acumen and resources to hire consultants or effectively manage volunteer-led projects. We established ourselves to be the bridge, creating a model that mirrors a professional consulting firm, but one that is dedicated entirely to serving the nonprofit community. Our volunteers are not just giving their time; they are applying their corporate and professional skills to solve complex business challenges for our nonprofit clients. We provide structured, project-based engagements in areas like marketing, strategy, finance, and IT, ensuring that both our volunteers and the organizations they serve have a rewarding and impactful experience. We are proud to have been serving local nonprofits for over two decades, fostering a new generation of community leaders and creating a powerful social DNA for a better world, one community at a time.
