Do you actively want to grow, shape and scale successful partnerships with existing and new Online-, Retail- and DIY partners within the UK & Ireland region? Are you an enthusiastic hunter, but at the same time able to successfully maintain and nurture existing partnerships? Then we are looking for you! Join our European Consumer team as a Director Consumer Sales (m/f/d) for UK & Ireland. You will be based in UK (work at London tado office or home office) and work closely with the tado° headquarters and our UK Country Manager. Joining our team means working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment which provides the opportunity to make your own mark within the organisation.

Your daily responsibilities include the following tasks:

  • Represent tadoº in the DIY, Installer & Consumer Channels across agreed accounts in the UK & Ireland region
  • Grow existing partnerships and bring them to the next level by proactively managing the category of Smart Heating and Cooling
  • Lead the local account planning process including account identification, prioritisation, key customer mapping and building cross functional account plans
  • tado° being a sell-out driven organisation work closely with our Channel Marketing Team to analyse, create and implement successful marketing activities and promotions
  • Develop and execute the UK & Ireland commercial plan
  • Analyse new business opportunities within your market and your strategic partners
  • Strong collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Coordinate & drive the Wholesaler for Installer business

Requirements

  • Significant sales management experience (5+ years) in online, retail and distribution facing roles, preferably in the smart home or installer sales sector including a track record of successful relationships with e-tailers, retailers, DIY’s and distributors
  • Good understanding of e-commerce/e-tailing and experience with offline retail/DIY
  • Online Marketing expertise
  • Relevant experience in creating sales plans from scratch
  • Strong analytical skills, as well as Excel and Powerpoint knowledge
  • Results-oriented approach and capability of taking strong ownership
  • Winning personality, excellent communication skills and the drive to fascinate and convince prospective partners
  • Fast, independent and driven way of working, but also a strong team player with the ability to work cross-functionally as part of a multi-disciplinary/ matrix
  • Excellent English skills are essential, other languages would be a plus
  • Preferably located in London area but not a must (tado office or home office)
