We’re looking for Freelance Retouchers skilled in AI-generated imagery and high-volume e-commerce production. You’ll help refine thousands of product images for global retail brands—turning algorithmic outputs into polished, realistic visuals with speed, consistency, and exceptional attention to detail. Joining this pool means you’ll complete a light vetting process so we know you’re ready to jump in when opportunities open. We keep our roster small and curated to ensure quality and long-term collaboration. What you’ll do
- Retouch and QC large batches of AI-generated product imagery, ensuring realism, consistency, and brand alignment.
- Execute tasks ranging from quick cleanups to advanced reconstruction, texture correction, and complex retouching.
- Collaborate with Superside’s post producers and AI imaging leads to maintain high production standards.
- Review external vendor output, annotate issues, and provide clear, actionable feedback.
- Support light motion cleanup for “moving stills” or looping PDP clips, including color and continuity adjustments.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in photo retouching or post-production, ideally in e-commerce, fashion, or advertising.
- Advanced Photoshop proficiency: masking, compositing, batch processing, and color correction.
- Understanding of AI-generated imagery artifacts and how to correct or enhance algorithmic outputs.
- Ability to work efficiently through large image volumes without sacrificing accuracy or detail.
- A meticulous eye for subtle visual inconsistencies and production errors.
- Familiarity with review and collaboration tools such as Frame.io, Figma, or Dropbox.
- Bonus: Experience retouching video stills, cinemagraphs, or product spins.
- Bonus: Exposure to AI-assisted tools (Firefly, Gen Fill, Topaz AI) or similar.
