Project Scope:
We are seeking a detail-oriented BusinessAnalyst to support institutional research and reporting initiatives. This rolewill focus on survey administration, data reporting, and analytical support fororganizational planning and decision-making. The selected candidate willcoordinate survey schedules, manage course evaluation processes, monitorresponse rates, and ensure data integrity across multiple reporting platforms.
This position also supports ongoing reportinginitiatives such as institutional factbooks, graduate placement reports, and adhoc survey/data collection projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate andmaintain survey distribution schedules for institutional and departmentalinitiatives
- Create,administer, and manage surveys using online survey platforms such as Qualtrics,SmartEvals, SogoSurvey, Alchemer, or similar tools
- Monitor surveyparticipation and response rates, ensuring timely follow-up and processcompletion
- Ensure dataquality, accuracy, and consistency across all survey and reporting activities
- Support courseevaluation processes and maintain ethical and efficient survey administrationprocedures
- Develop andmaintain recurring and ad hoc data reports for institutional stakeholders
- Assist with theonline Factbook and Graduate Placement reporting processes
- Generatedashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI or Tableau
- Utilize Exceladvanced features, including Pivot Tables, for reporting and analysis
- Support newsurvey initiatives and institutional data collection projects as needed
- Analyze collecteddata and present findings in a clear, actionable format
- Collaborate withinternal stakeholders to understand reporting needs and provide analyticalsupport
- Maintaindocumentation related to survey methodologies, schedules, and reportingprocedures
- Ensureconfidentiality and compliance with data handling standards
- Respond toadditional institutional survey opportunities and special reporting requests
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years ofexperience creating and administering surveys and data reports
- Hands-onexperience with survey platforms such as Qualtrics, SmartEvals, SogoSurvey,Alchemer, or similar
- 2+ years ofexperience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- 2+ years ofexperience using Pivot Tables and advanced Excel reporting functions
- Strong experiencein data analysis, reporting, and maintaining data accuracy
Preferred Skills:
- Experience withSQL or similar data extraction/query methods
- Experiencesupporting institutional research, education, or survey-based programs
- Familiarity withreporting automation and dashboard development
- Experienceworking with large datasets and analytical reporting tools
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (required and must becompleted/verified)
