Qualified candidates will have multiple years of experience and expertise in maintaining Windows-based networks. The candidate must be technically strong and able to troubleshoot a wide variety of workstation, network, and server issues. This role requires the ability to consistently manage diverse technologies, including Fortinet, Barracuda, Cisco Meraki, and Ubiquiti network environments, while supporting the Intelinet Cloud Solution. This position works directly on customer networks, so strong communication skills are required.

CompTIA, Microsoft, and Cisco certifications are highly desirable, along with Fortinet (NSE) and Meraki certifications, and a willingness to continue training toward industry certifications is required. Candidatesmust be self-motivated, possess excellent customer service skills, and demonstrate integrity beyond reproach.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 3+ years of experience

  • Maintain complete and accurate technical documentation

NETWORKING

  • Solid background in network administration and architecture
  • Hands-on experience with Barracuda Networks, Fortinet (FortiGate), Cisco Meraki, and Ubiquiti (UniFi) networking solutions
  • In-depth understanding of communication protocols (primarily TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF)
  • Technical certifications preferred (A+, MCTS, VTSP, CCENT, CCNA, Fortinet NSE, Meraki ECMS)
  • Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN)
  • Installation and configuration of networking hardware including firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless systems across Fortinet, Meraki, and Ubiquiti platforms
  • Configure and manage Fortinet security policies, SD-WAN, VPNs, and threat protection features
  • Administer Meraki cloud-managed networking (MX, MS, MR) including monitoring and performance optimization
  • Deploy and support Ubiquiti UniFi gateways, switches, and wireless infrastructure
  • Design firewall configurations including NAT, PNAT, ACLs, and content/application filtering policies
  • Design wireless configurations using SSIDs and authentication methods such as LDAP and RADIUS
  • Configure VLANs and network segmentation
  • Recommend improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability
  • Utilize network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools
  • Monitor network performance and integrity
  • Conduct regular network performance testing
  • Implement and maintain network security measures

SERVERS, CLOUD, & SECURITY

  • Windows Server 2016+ design, build, maintenance, and management
  • Ability to create and deploy physical and virtual server infrastructure
  • Management of Lights-Out and lifecycle systems (iDRAC or similar)
  • Support for Hyper-V, VMware, failover clusters, and high-availability environments
  • Administration of Active Directory and core services (DNS, DHCP, Print, File)
  • Design and administration of disaster recovery solutions and infrastructure
  • Administration of Azure and Entra ID
  • Administration of Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
  • Understanding of authentication methods including MFA, TOTP, SSO, Conditional Access, and Zero Trust
  • Strong knowledge of malware detection and remediation techniques
  • Create, oversee, and test security measures (e.g., access controls and disaster recovery strategies)
