Spreedly is the world's leading Payments Orchestration solution. Our vision is that the world is better with a diversified, inclusive payment ecosystem. Our mission is to accelerate commerce with an open, secure, and flexible payment platform that welcomes all payment participants. Backed by Spectrum Equity, with a $75M investment, Spreedly is experiencing rapid growth.
We now serve 600 customers globally. Many of these direct customers are platforms and marketplaces that have thousands of their merchants leveraging our payments platform. Our customers include industry leaders in digital goods, order ahead and delivery, online marketplaces, donation/giving platforms, event ticketing, and financial services.
Our employees help us execute against our vision through building a culture focused on autonomy, transparency, and collaboration in a dynamic, high-growth organization.
The Revenue Operations Analyst will work closely with our Sales, Marketing, Launch, Customer Success, and Support teams to continuously research, evaluate, and refine existing Go-To-Market (GTM) processes. Through analyzing and optimizing operational data, you'll accelerate and improve our ability to make decisions by ensuring we have access to timely and accurate insights.
This role will be very hands-on, leading the improvement of the efficiency of our sales pipeline management, onboarding funnel analysis, time-to-value assessment, churn prediction, adoption tracking, retention strategies, and many more of our core operational metrics. While the Revenue Operations Analyst will work collaboratively across the business, they will partner closely with the GTM leadership team, which is led by Spreedly’s president. This role is open to candidates who currently reside in Canada or the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of sales, marketing, and customer data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for revenue optimization. • You recognize that data and process integrity, as well as adoption, are critical - you take ownership here and have built mechanisms to do this efficiently.
  • Salesforce Management: Work closely with the Salesforce administrator to ensure Salesforce is effectively capturing and organizing relevant data, and implement necessary updates or enhancements to improve data quality and usability.
  • Integration of Tech Stack Data: Integrate data from various sources within the tech stack to provide a holistic view of the customer journey and revenue generation process. • You understand what it takes to automate effectively within a complex tech stack, and also when not to do that work. This isn't a developer role, but it does require good knowledge of what can typically be done within and between applications; you won't be coding, but you will be writing requirements and working with admins/developers to implement change.
  • Insight Generation: Deliver actionable insights to the President and other stakeholders based on data analysis, supporting strategic decision-making and revenue growth initiatives. • You aren’t just proficient at building dashboards and reports, but you can synthesize findings and extract key messages and actionable insights for executive stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Launch, Customer Success, and Support teams to align data analysis efforts with organizational goals and priorities. • You are comfortable working with all stages of the customer journey, including opportunity management, handoffs from Sales to Customer Success and Support, and the renewals processes. You can readily bring best practices from your past experience to bear at Spreedly.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and maintain key performance metrics related to sales pipeline, onboarding funnel, time to value, churn, adoption, and retention, providing regular reports and updates to stakeholders. • You love data and details, and building GTM processes around both. You've made GTM teams more efficient using data before, so you understand what it takes to implement, manage, and measure process improvements.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize revenue operations processes through automation, standardization, and best practice implementation. • Defining new processes from scratch and evaluating existing processes doesn’t overwhelm you, it excites you! You love all of the steps involved in creating a SOP, and when you look at an existing process or data trend, your first question is always, “How can I make this better/more efficient/more effective?”

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in revenue operations, business analysis, or similar function, preferably in a SaaS or tech-driven environment optimizing GTM team processes and performance
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
  • An understanding of the B2B SaaS sales cycle and customer journey
  • Highly detail-oriented, ensuring all work is completed thoroughly and accurately
  • Experience with most or all of our systems (or similar tools) - Salesforce, Pardot, Clari, Catalyst, Zendesk, Groove, Gong, and Looker
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A strong team player with the ability to think strategically and initiate, refine, and complete projects proactively with minimal guidance
  • Clear, thorough documentation is in your DNA, and you like using that documentation to train and coach the broader team
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
