Experience in credit products, prepaid cards or other spend operations functions is a strong plus.

In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with data science teams to build the data strategy and associated deliverables to launch and run features for the cash and cards operations team
  • Work on data integration projects required to onboard and optimize working with different industry vendors
  • Automate manual processes where possible (experience coding is a strong plus but experience with no code tooling is welcome too e.g. zapier, workato)
  • Work collaboratively with a variety of cross functional stakeholders (product, engineering, data science, and finance) to coordinate and build reporting dashboards and metrics
  • Building, maintaining, and optimizing operational dashboards to monitor all cash and card products
  • Build project plans and timelines to facilitate the data requirements needed for new product or feature launches
  • Act as a catalyst by bringing the right teams/people together within and/or across teams
  • Help manage/optimize our relationships with third party vendors, and the associated data integrations
  • Be the voice of the Operations team and advise on key business decisions as it relates to our products
  • Problem solve to ensure product and customer services are supported, creating the best possible experience for our clients

Skills weโ€™re looking for:

  • Data analytics: Has a strong proficiency in SQL, and a history of using data to answer complex problems.
  • -- Creating complex joins analysis, ability to use SQL to do reconciliation
  • -- Defining what views and metrics are required to track operational performance and business needs
  • -- Financial modeling, coding/automation, ability to contribute to a data model, and experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Superset) are an asset
  • Relevant experience: Demonstrated success in credit or spend product operations, management consulting, startups, banking and payments, or other operations roles in related fields.
  • Organization planning: Plans, organizes, and schedules in a productive manner, allowing for a focus on key priorities and regular updates
  • Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work in collaboration with various team members
  • Strong written and verbal communication: Speaks plainly and truthfully. Communicates complex ideas in a simple easy-to-understand way for any audience (e.g. engineering, 3rd party vendors, growth/operational teams, executive team)
  • Problem solving: If something seems off, you want to figure out whatโ€™s going on; you enjoy navigating uncertainty, bringing clarity to ambiguity and donโ€™t wait for a playbook to be written
  • Proactive Action Oriented: Acts without being told what to do; taking full ownership of work, and proactively seeks help and input when needed to provide well supported solutions
  • Efficiency: Ability to produce significant output with minimum wasted effort; finds the path of least resistance to the problem definition, solution and execution
  • Honesty/integrity: Doesn't cut corners; does what is right, not what is politically expedient
