Description du poste

  • Design & implement strategies & operating model for FinOps deployment at scale ensuring that the cost management & optimization practices are implemented across the project teams
  • Define & develop a dedicated FinOps reporting in collaboration with the CloudOps Engineering team with the associated KPIs to manage costs, produce show/chargeback and track the implementation & outcomes of FinOps best practices to improve the decision-making process, forecasting & budgeting activities and communicate the key financial metrics and trends to drive accountability.
  • Define & provide data to demonstrate the business value of our products & services to accelerate innovation, improve product design decisions and install a long-term competitiveness and financial health of our products.
  • Share your FinOps expertise in cloud pricing models, cost management, forecasting & governance by launching a FinOps community, FinOps training sessions and other communication activities aiming to support FinOps success stories, evangelize on the importance of cost-awareness and the ownership in the cloud.
  • In collaboration with Engineering, Product management & Cloud Ops, ensure that FinOps practices & reporting answer the expectations of diverse stakeholders such as the infrastructure department, apps but also business and executives.
  • Define & implement FinOps by Design best practices & tools to provide the necessary guiderails in the design phase of new products and features to optimize by design by considering purchasing commitments, technical optimization, and business needs.
  • Integrate FinOps best practices into the forecasting & budgeting processes to ensure continuous cost management & optimization throughout the product lifecycle (by defining clear cost-related metrics and fostering a culture of accountability across all departments)
  • Support automation initiatives for FinOps reporting & optimization activities to standardize practices, boost skills development and reduce FinOps backlog.

Qualifications

  • 8-10+ years of experience in IT financial operations, financial advisory or IT cost optimization management
  • Successful track record in driving financial performance and implementing strategic initiatives.
  • Advanced understanding of cloud infrastructure, associated costs and billing metrics
  • Ideally FinOps and/or AWS practitioner certified.
  • Industry knowledge and awareness of emerging trends in cloud technology and financial management
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Capable of translating complex financial concepts to diverse audiences across technical and non-technical backgrounds
  • High proficiency in BI tools such as Quicksight, Power BI or similar platforms
  • Passionate about cloud, innovation and data, as well as, able to make decisions examining financial metrics and technology to ensure the financial health of products & services
  • Bilingual in English.
