Senior Quality Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer (Automation) to support PowerPlan’s NXT product team. In this role, you will build and maintain automated end-to-end tests using Playwright and TypeScript for a cloud-based, metadata-driven platform. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and other QEs to ensure high-quality feature delivery within an agile environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, building, and maintaining automated tests using Playwright + TypeScript

• Converting critical manual test scenarios into scalable automation

• Executing in-sprint testing to validate new NXT features

• Collaborating with engineering and product to identify risks and improve coverage

• Participating in sprint ceremonies, contributing to test strategy, and improving QA processes

• Ensuring automated flows support core financial calculation and metadata-driven UI workflows

This role requires strong ownership, technical curiosity, and the ability to work effectively within a distributed team aligned to U.S. time zones.

• 4+ years of experience in QA automation with a focus on UI and end-to-end testing

• Hands-on experience with Playwright (required) and TypeScript/JavaScript

• Familiarity with testing within metadata-driven UI frameworks (Angular experience is a plus)

• Understanding of backend workflows, APIs, and data validation

• Experience testing complex business logic or financial/enterprise systems preferred

• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills

• Ability to collaborate with developers, product owners, and architects in an agile environment

• Proactive mindset with a focus on quality, coverage, and continuous improvement

Must have the ability to travel to the USA (Atlanta, GA) 1-2 times per year.
