This position is Remote to work with a US Company; you will require to have Citizenship or a work permit from Costa Rica to apply for this role.

Role summary
You will design and build modern, scalable web applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js. This role focuses on delivering high-quality frontend experiences, performance optimization, and maintainable architecture within a collaborative engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Implement responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces.
• Translate product and design requirements into scalable frontend solutions.
• Optimize application performance, SEO, and rendering strategies (SSR/SSG).
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend standards.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend and integration issues.

Requirements – Must-haves

• Strong experience with TypeScript in production environments.
• Proven expertise in React development.
• Hands-on experience building applications with Next.js.
• Solid understanding of modern frontend architecture and component design.
• Experience consuming RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with Git-based version control workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Nice-to-haves (optional)

• Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, etc.).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience optimizing performance for high-traffic applications.
• Exposure to full stack development or Node.js environments.
