We're recruiting a Business Analyst with data transformation experience, to support the Product Experience Management team within one of our major clients delivering a high profile global project: migrating from a legacy to modern Product Information Management (PIM) platform.

This is a new role to make your own. It will require you to be hands-on, adaptable and be comfortable multi-tasking - getting involved in work that is beyond simple analysis.

The key to success in this role will be your ability to engage stakeholders in plain English, listen and understand their current ways of working, then mapping and tracking these requirements into the new PIM platform. You will play a key part in rolling out the new platform across EMEA, and the role has the possibility of extending to rollout across other regions over time.

You will work in a dynamic e-commerce beauty retail environment, as part of a global team for a household name, on a platform that serves 300+ sites globally. It is a chance to work alongside highly experienced and talented product owners, scrum masters, QA, designers & developers who analyse, architect, & build solutions based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, business users, and subject matter experts to gather and track detailed business and technical requirements.
  • Prepare functional specifications, user stories and process flows.
  • Identify and transform data from various source systems in Excel.
  • Contribute to identifying and resolving impediments for bugs.
  • Conduct thorough consultations & workshops with stakeholders to understand their business goals, challenges, and requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to play back their requirements, confirm their understanding, and help them prepare for the PIM implementation.
  • Support workshops with stakeholders to help them map end state processes and improvements that the new PIM will bring against their current ways of working.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years working knowledge as a business analyst, with skills in research and transforming data.
  • A self-driven multi-tasker, who is passionate about supporting stakeholders to define and realise their requirements over the course of the project lifecycle
  • A very well organised and results orientated person.
  • Work with data to identify, enhance and transform, before being loaded into source systems.
  • Excellent Word, PowerPoint and Excel Skills
  • Excellent communication skills with both business and technical audiences
  • Experience of work with marketplaces and e-retailers / e-commerce is desirable.
  • Knowledge of PIM or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Strong, fluent written and spoken English.
