We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Executive to join our team. The Tax Executive will be expected to have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, in order to effectively communicate with clients about our accounting software products and services.

Responsibilities

1) Servicing a portfolio of tax clients

2) Preparation and filing of corporate tax including:

  • ECI (Estimated chargeable income) tax
  • Final tax (Form C/C-S/C-S Lite/Dormant C-S)
  • Strike-off tax clearance
  • Dormant tax waiver

3) Preparation and filing of withholding tax returns for Sleek’s tax clients

4) Preparation and filing of Certificate of Residency (COR)

5) Attending to tax queries from clients and tax authorities (IRAS)

6) Assisting the tax manager or immediate supervisor on a project assignments

7) Perform other ad-hoc duties to support the Tax team when required

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in tax compliance
  • Familiarity with Singapore tax regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working with accounting software such as Xero, Dext, and Hubspot is a plus
