Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Associate with a background in agriculture to join our team. The Sales Associate will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our agricultural products and services to farmers, agronomists, and other key stakeholders in the agricultural industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting efforts such as cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach
- Sell agriculture testing services to American Farmers
- Food experience
- Qualify and nurture leads through the sales funnel
- Manage and maintain a database of prospects and customers in a CRM system
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and implement lead generation strategies
- Conduct research on target accounts to understand their business needs and pain points
- Provide timely and accurate reporting of sales activities and performance metrics
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and build relationships with potential customers
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and competitors
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English language skills at either the B2 or C1 level is required.
- English Resume is required
- Experience in the agricultural industry - specially with vegetables - zucchini, tomatoes, etc.
- Experience selling in the USA
- Minimum of 2 years of B2B sales experience, SaaS experience is a plus
- Proven track record of successful lead generation and sales results
- Proficiency in CRM and sales automation tools
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and driven to succeed
