Job Description

Responsible for overseeing projects that directly impact Pharma NAM daily operations and ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This includes planning, organizing staff and stake holders, project control, and implementation. The Operations Project Manager (OPM)leads projects as needed for all Pharma NAM sites that involve internal processes, systems, and improvements within the organization. The OPM will collaborate with site GMs, operational teams, IT and other SGS partner functions as needed.

  • Identify best in class solutions for business enhancement and develop & execute medium to high complexity projects for system and process enhancement.
  • Understands impact of requirements to business processes and technical landscape.
  • Performs risk assessments and determines mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Creates requirements models or process diagrams to provide visualization of current and future state.
  • Act as a as a liaison between business and technical teams to implement solutions to improve efficiencies in the business processes.
  • Facilitate workshop sessions with stakeholders to identify process bottlenecks and requirements; consults with technical and Strategic Transformation teams to identify solutions.
  • Effectively monitor and control project progress and mitigate project risk
  • Work with leaders across the departments to ensure we reach our goals and keep projects on track for timely completion
  • Effectively use metrics to track progress, identify issues, make decisions and improvements.
  • Document business requirements, business rule definition and process mapping with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Interact with all levels of management, suppliers and end users. Employee may require senior management buy in on programs and initiatives
  • Works with business stakeholders to manage User Acceptance Testing.
  • In collaboration with IT teams, writes and maintains user documentation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field ( Science, Engineering, Project Management, Information Technoligy) Required
  • 5+ year’s experience in managing business process projects including medium to high complexity IT Projects. Required
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with continuous improvement toolsets such as LEAN, 5S, and Kaizen. Required
  • Experience with project management. Required
  • Strong IT knowledge/background
