Country & Deputy DPO will join the legal team and support the Group DPO in ensuring Sapiens’ compliance with EU privacy legislation.
Responsibilities:
Manage, monitor, maintain the company’s records in OneTrust
Perform privacy assessment of new vendors, assets and other by use of OneTrust
Negotiate and review Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) from both sides (when Sapiens is Data Controller or Data Processor).
Performance of Transfer Impact Assessments when cross-border transfers of personal data are foreseen.
Draft of privacy policies, guidelines, and others, as well as update the company’s privacy notices, policies, and processes as required.
Handle data subjects’ requests.
Assist local privacy requests from Poland and Germany offices
Support Group DPO in relation to supervisory authority or audits.
Advise the business on on-going legal queries (such as NDAs) as required from time to time.
Assist in the assessment of legislative changes, identification of risk associated and their impact on business activities and existing privacy policies.
Requirements:
Professional:
Academic qualification in law.
At least 5 years of working experience as a privacy lawyer in an international company.
Excellent knowledge of EU GDPR and UK GDPR. Good knowledge of German data protection law is a plus.
Experience with cloud services and cross-border transfers of data.
Experience with OneTrust privacy tool.
Experience in drafting privacy policies and negotiating DPAs.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English. German is a plus.
Experience as a privacy lawyer on the processor side in regulated sectors, such as in the Insurance or Banking sector, is an advantage.
Experience with incident management.
