Seeking a Client facing Media Project Manager to join our client team. Will beresponsible for the entire life cycle of content services projects in a given portfolio, ensuring customer expectation are met in terms of turnaround time, quality, and price; while in parallel ensuring budget/margin optimization

Requirements

Main Responsibilities

• Handling of daily translation/localization requests

• Proactive communication with all involved stakeholders
• Manage the stakeholders’ expectations and the suppliers’ activities
• Ensure on-time and high-quality deliveries
• Work closely with Marketing and Web Localization Managers
• Hands-on with in-house TMS (Smartling)
• Collaborate with the Web developers and technical teams.
• Assistance in other content areas may be needed as well

Requirements

• For day-to-day communication, a native level of English and other languages is beneficial

• A target- and process-oriented way of working as well as multitasking and the ability to work in a team

• Experience working with CAT tools, multilingual glossary formats and Translation Memory management
• Experience managing a range of project types and projects of varying complexity
• Experience managing projects that involve Desktop Publishing services, subtitling and voice-over.
• Experience with CMS, TMS and QC is a plus.
• Experience in Media, Website Coordination and Marketing.

Educational background

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the localization industry.

Professional background

• 2+ years of experience processing translation project requests on either the vendor or buyer side within the language service area.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• IT Knowledge of MS Office, Smartling and a TMS system

Salary base range for this position is between $48K to $60K, dependent upon experience and physical location.
