ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a talented and experienced Strategic Programs Manager to join our Marketing Operations team. This role is crucial in shaping and executing key marketing operations initiatives. This role sits in the MOps Strategic Programs team, under the Slack Marketing Operations team, and this person will report to the Senior Manager of Strategic Programs.
In this role, this person will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, each offering its own set of exciting challenges and opportunities. From enhancing our online presence with new features to optimizing internal processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams, no two days will be the same.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure Alignment with Company Objectives: Maintain a clear understanding of the company's strategic goals and ensure all programs are aligned with these objectives.
Project Management: Lead diverse projects such as adding features to the company website, optimizing lead flow, and ensuring our interests are represented in cross-departmental initiatives.
Develop and Manage Strategic Marketing Programs: Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive marketing operations programs that align with our business goals. Monitor and report on the progress of key initiatives to MOps leadership.
Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate across teams, orgs and timezones, to align, unblock and enable internal stakeholders to deliver high impact cross-functional programs at Slack. Act as a central point of contact to streamline communication and project execution.
Oversee Implementation of Marketing Technologies: Manage the deployment and optimization of marketing technologies and tools. Ensure these tools are effectively integrated and utilized to support marketing objectives.
Analyze Data: Utilize data analytics to inform strategic decisions. Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of key marketing operations efforts.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in marketing operations and strategic program management, preferably within the tech industry, with an ability to work independently.
Project Management Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail, a results-driven mindset, and an ability to adapt quickly.
Analytical Abilities: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with marketing technologies, CRM systems, and data analysis tools.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional project teams, across multiple time zones.
Relationship Building: Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and technical and non-technical team members alike.
