Freelance Psychologist

Responsibilities

• Carry out in person and virtual evaluations using in depth discussions, interviews, and observations to determine suitable assessments or interventions

• Identify and assess clients’ psychological and emotional conditions

• Develop structured care plans that may include counselling, therapeutic techniques, or referrals where needed

• Work closely with clients to set clear and individualized goals

• Monitor progress regularly and review care plans with clients to refine approaches where necessary

• Guide clients in building healthy coping strategies for managing difficult situations

• Keep accurate and up to date documentation of client progress and modify plans accordingly

• Facilitate group therapy sessions when applicable

• Partner with Safe Space™, the counselling team, and relevant stakeholders on initiatives and projects

• Offer professional input and clinical guidance to support internal practices at Safe Space™

• Support operational, administrative, and project coordination tasks as required
