Senior Specialist Solution Architect

Establish strategic relationships with Red Hat customers, helping customers understand how Red Hat solutions will give them a competitive advantage and achieve their business objectives.

*Telecommuting role to be performed anywhere in the U.S.

What you will do

• Discover and analyze customers’ business and technical problems and connect the appropriate Red Hat solution that aligns to their needs, including developing prototypes of solutions to prove a concept or value to the customer.
• Identify and create business solutions by taking into consideration industry specific standards and customer business objectives and correlating Red Hat’s software with a broader set of open-source solutions and open standards.
• Collaborate with Red Hat Engineering and Business Units, Professional Services, Sales teams, and partners to ensure excellent customer experience with Red Hat’s offerings and solutions.
• Provide feedback to the Business Unit about project implementations, customer perception and market situation and meet with sales teams and partners to promote opportunities and products awareness.
• Meet revenue goals, deployment, and service objectives while sustaining good relationships with prospective customers and current customers.
• Participate in the sales cycle by proposing software solutions and guidance for implementations, and host internal meetings to promote success cases or generate awareness around new technologies and product updates.
• Deliver whitepapers and present at conferences, participate in Red Hat’s communication channels by providing technical or business articles, blog posts or whitepapers, and participate in Red Hat’s events by hosting presentations, demonstrations, or workshops.

The salary range for this position is $120,661 - $229,572/year. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

What you will bring

• Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related role OR Seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or related role.
• Must have five (5) years of experience with: Java Developer; JBoss EAP; API Management; Red Hat AMQ; Apache Camel; and Enterprise Application Architecture and development of enterprise applications.
• Must have three (3) years of experience with: Containers; delivering presentations to technical, management, and executive levels; OpenShift Administrator; Linux; and Cloud platforms.
• Must have two (2) years of experience with automation tools and processes for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
• Domestic travel required 30% of the time to customer sites, industry events, and conferences. Travel expenses covered by Red Hat, Inc.
