The Rapid Pioneers Group has a portfolio of over 25 companies in the consumer and B2B technology space. This job will be with a leading Silicon Valley-based podcast agency that helps B2B technology brands create video podcasts that are hosted by their CEO. Our goal is to blend the informative nature of B2B content with the engaging and entertaining style typically seen in B2C media. We strive to produce content that captivates our clients' target audiences attention, making professional topics both accessible and memorable.

The Role:
We are searching for a talented Video Editor with a creative flair and a knack for storytelling. In this role, you'll be responsible for transforming podcast episodes into compelling full-length videos and eye-catching social media clips. A key part of your job will be to manage video content for 10-12 clients, each with an average of two episodes per month. From each podcast, you will produce four social media clips, ensuring a steady stream of engaging content for our clients' audiences.

Responsibilities:

• Edit full-length video podcasts to ensure they are compelling and reflect the client's brand identity.

• Produce short clips for social media that catch the audience's attention and increase engagement.

• Work closely with our team to align the video content with the overall theme and marketing objectives of each episode.

• Use your editing skills to enhance storytelling and the overall viewing experience.

• Handle multiple projects at once, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.

• Keep up with the latest trends in video editing to bring fresh and innovative ideas to our content production.

Requirements:

• Solid experience in video editing within an agency setting, with a portfolio that showcases your ability to edit both long and short video content.

• An understanding of how to create B2C-style content within a B2B framework, making professional topics engaging for a wider audience.

• Experience working with startups or in fast-paced environments is preferred.

• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and graphics design tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Photoshop).

• Strong storytelling ability, with attention to detail and a creative approach to video editing.

• Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing tight deadlines and multiple projects.

Compensation Range: ZAR 320K - ZAR 400K
