Schedule: Full Time, Monday to Friday 8 to 5
Location: Hybrid-remote but may require you to work onsite around Seattle, Washington
Job description:
The Centralized Triage CMA plays a critical role in supporting clinical operations by performing a variety of administrative and patient care tasks from a centralized location. This role supports multiple providers or practices, helping to improve care coordination, streamline workflows, and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Will answer incoming calls from patients.
- Will perform initial telephone screening which includes patient-reported information as to the nature, severity, and duration of the concern.
- Will monitor and pre-screen all triage-related MyChart messages.
- Will assist patients with scheduling appointments.
- Will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
- Document accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring all notes and interactions are logged.

Required qualifications:
- Coursework/Training Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants Or
- Coursework/Training Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program Or
- Coursework/Training Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces Or
- Coursework/Training Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration Or
- Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
- Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 6 months Healthcare experience
- 6 months Medical Assistant experience
Preferred qualifications:
- Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification
