The Asset Protection Division of Protective Life Corporation has been providing F&I solutions for the automotive industry since 1962. We proudly serve thousands of dealerships in the automotive industries by providing innovative F&I products, training and technology. The Regional Sales Director is responsible for the oversight and direction a network of independent insurance agents to drive sales growth of our automotive product portfolio in the central/western region of the U.S. including Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Kansas This includes acquisition of new customer accounts and maintaining and developing existing automotive dealer relationships. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDrive sales growth by acquiring new business and cultivating new agency relationships.Work with agents to develop and execute strategy for same store sales revenue growth leading to the additional sale of products to existing clients. Gather customer insight and drive solutions to enhance the customer experience. Build and maintain relationships with senior level personnel within customer accounts.Conducts financial reviews with executive ownership of all dealership groups within their region.Utilize CRM to actively track and analyze sales leads and customer interactions to enhance business relationships with customers and drive sales growth. COMMUNICATIONS:This position is in continuous contact with external and internal customers. As an ambassador of our company and brand, this position requires strong presentation skills and communication skills. PROFESSIONAL SPECIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree preferredPrior sales management experience required5-7 years automotive industry experience preferred REQUIREMENTSMust possess strong leadership abilities, including managing and motivating a teamStrong focus on customer service, which includes excellent listening skills, verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skillsMust have a proven track record of developing sales results in a assigned territory.Possess an organized approach in problem solving abilityMust have own vehicle with a good driving recordMust be able to travel up to 75% of the time by air or car Employee Benefits:We aim to protect our employees' wellbeing through a broad benefits offering.
