We are seeking for a driven Senior Software Engineer – Backend with strong understanding of the complete life cycle of software development and willing to grow in the dynamic and ever-changing Financial Sector.

You will have the opportunity to work with us, on our in-house project -web application that monitors EFT POS devices.

The solution has a dual functionality of monitoring and a merchant portal (POSight), all in one place. It includes graphical representation of real-time data, providing a powerful tool that increases profitability, simplifies and automates processes.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing robust APIs for user-facing web applications and components using .NET framework.
• Fine-tuning application and database performance to ensure optimal user experience.
• Integrating automated testing seamlessly into development and maintenance processes.
• Staying abreast of the latest advancements in C# and .NET technologies.
• Identifying and resolving software defects.
• Utilizing code optimization tools and analyzers to identify and refactor inefficiencies.
• Recommending updates and modifications to adhere to modern security standards and development best practices.
• Participating in code reviews during pull requests to maintain code quality.
• Assisting in the creation of comprehensive technical documentation, including installation guides, system architecture documents, feature lists, and configuration guides.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
• Minimum of 4+ years with designing and building software using .NET.
• Excellent coding skills, in C# with strong knowledge on latest .NET Frameworks (.NET 7, .NET 8)
• Experience in SQL & relational databases, with emphasis on MS SQL Server 2016 or higher
• Have experience (not all required) with technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue.js.
• Familiarity with integration / functional / UI Automation testing is a plus

Advantage would be:

• Experience with banking technologies, transaction processing and applications for self-service equipment
• Analytical thinker, strong problem-solving abilities, customer responsiveness and excellent communication skills
• Team player and a good listener with excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic, autonomous environment
• Willingness to learn frontend technologies to become fluent in using it
