About the JobCertiK is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team. The Accounting Manager will oversee the general accounting functions of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
The Accounting Manager is also responsible for managing the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures. The Accounting Manager works closely with other departments within the organization to ensure the accuracy of financial statements and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing
- Responsible for the maintenance of the general ledger
- Oversee all day-to-day accounting processes
- Ensure accurate accounting and timely reporting of financial data to management
- Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Revenue Recognition
- Manage internal and external financial audits as well as tax audits
- Maintain internal control over revenues, assets, and liabilities
- Maintain corporate relations with vendors, banking institutions, auditors, and other affiliates
- Prepare ad hoc reports as requested
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- B.S. in Accounting
- 5+ years of accounting experience, public and private experience preferred
- Proficient with excel, word, and powerpoint
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organization, time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Team player, strong interpersonal skills, and self-motivated to learn and take on new challenge
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus
- Ability to work in a remote environment with a diverse team
