We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Digital Designer to join our Supplements and Vitamins team and play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of our newly launching brand across digital platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new venture and leave a lasting impact on our brand's visual language from the ground up. As the Lead Visual Designer, you will collaborate closely with our team to create a cohesive and compelling visual identity that resonates with our target audience and effectively communicates our brand's essence across various digital touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Representation and Creative Direction:

  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver creative work that represents the brand's essence, design principles, and business intentions across concept, production, post-production, and launch.
  • Create and design a cohesive look and feel for our website, emails, and social media channels that will inspire our community and effectively communicate our compelling brand stories.

Digital Asset Design:

  • Utilize design tools such as Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other relevant software to design captivating and interactive digital assets for desktop, mobile, and social channels.
  • Design strong campaigns that visually tell the brand story, effectively conveying our messaging and engaging our target audience.
  • Ensure design consistency across all digital touchpoints, adhering to brand guidelines and best practices.

Campaign Development and Execution:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute visually stunning campaigns that resonate with our audience and drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Develop design concepts, mood boards, and visual assets that bring campaign ideas to life in a compelling and cohesive manner.
  • Iterate and refine designs based on feedback and performance data, continuously optimizing for maximum impact.

Stay Current and Innovate:

  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies, design trends, and market developments in the digital and visual design space.
  • Proactively bring new knowledge, techniques, and innovative ideas to the team, contributing to the evolution of our visual identity and design approach.

Continuously explore new tools and techniques to enhance design capabilities and push the boundaries of creative expression.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in visual design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in digital asset creation and campaign development.
  • Experience in the health and wellness industry is a plus but not a mandatory requirement.
  • Experience in 360 design for a fast-growing D2C and/or CPG brand
  • Experience with Shopify a plus
  • Strong portfolio showing a broad range of work from concept development to execution
  • Proficiency in design software such as Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
  • Ability to effectively communicate design concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and visual storytelling.
  • Passion for staying up-to-date with emerging design trends and technologies.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
