We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Content Lead (Supplements and Vitamins) to drive our content strategy and production across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of content marketing, editorial experience, and a proven ability to create dynamic, best-in-class content that resonates with our audience and supports business goals. This role will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy, managing editorial calendars, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure brand messaging and content align with marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation and Management:

  • Write and produce relevant, dynamic, best-in-class content for website, editorial platforms, social media, email, and other assets.
  • Maintain and manage editorial calendars, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality content.
  • Draft blog posts, web and social media copy, and create and develop video scripts.
  • Utilize performance insights from marketing teams (paid, email, social) to iterate and create more focused copy.
  • Ensure branded content supports business goals and drives customer engagement and brand affinity.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of SEO and create content optimized for search.

Brand Voice and Storytelling:

  • Manage and write to a consistent brand voice, ensuring messaging aligns with our values and target audience.
  • Work with key leaders to identify and elevate timely storylines that resonate with our audience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with overall marketing and business objectives.

Project Management and Collaboration:

  • Strong project management skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and other teams to ensure seamless content production and distribution.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather content requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4-5+ years of content marketing/editorial experience, preferably in the health and wellness industry.
  • Experience with social media content creation and management.
  • Knowledge of industry operations and standards, with experience in the vitamin/supplement world considered a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong grasp of grammar and style guidelines.
  • Journalism experience a plus, with a proven ability to craft compelling narratives and storytelling.
  • Ability to function in a flexible, constantly changing environment, with outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • A genuine interest in health and wellness, with a passion for creating engaging content that educates and inspires.
