Power to Change

Power to Change Ministries is a Canadian Christian organization, formerly Campus Crusade for Christ, dedicated to evangelism and discipleship through various ministries reaching students, athletes, and families.

About Power to Change

What began in 1967 as a focused initiative to share the Christian faith with university students has evolved into one of Canada's most dynamic and multifaceted ministry organizations. Originally established as the Canadian arm of Campus Crusade for Christ, the organization found its roots at the University of British Columbia, driven by a passionate vision to help students discover a transformative relationship with Jesus. For decades, this student-centric mission served as the foundation, but as the cultural landscape shifted, so did the organization's horizon.

Recognizing that the message of hope and transformation was needed in every sector of society, the ministry expanded its reach well beyond the campus. New initiatives were launched to serve athletes, business leaders, families, and marginalized communities, each tailored to meet people where they were. In 2007, this evolution culminated in a significant rebranding to 'Power to Change Ministries,' a name chosen to reflect the core belief in the life-changing power of the Gospel. Today, the organization operates as a family of 11 distinct ministries and a humanitarian partner, the Global Aid Network (GAiN). With a dedicated team of approximately 600 staff members, Power to Change leverages digital strategies, humanitarian aid, and community engagement to make a global impact, continuing its legacy of helping individuals experience the power to change their world.
