About Young Life
Young Life is a mission devoted to introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith. Our ministry reaches out to middle school, high school, and college students in all 50 states and in more than 100 countries around the world. We strive to go where kids are and build personal relationships with them, creating an environment where they feel loved and valued.
Established in 1941, Young Life has developed a rich legacy of caring adults who are committed to spending time with kids on their turf. Our approach is deeply relational and focuses on providing fun experiences that encourage kids to explore their faith. Today, we have over 39,000 volunteer leaders and thousands of staff members actively engaged in our mission, working alongside each other to create lasting impacts in the lives of adolescents everywhere. From summer camps to meaningful one-on-one conversations, our goal remains clear: to help equip young people to thrive in their relationships with Jesus and each other.
