Job Overview

The Associate Project Manager Mobile Intern will collaborate closely with the Manager of Project Management and QA, Mobile/Web, to support the planning, execution, and tracking of mobile/web development projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

PlanetArt internships are full-time positions, and interns should expect to work Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours per week typically between 9am-6pm. Specific team norms around working hours will be communicated by your manager. Interns should not have conflicts such as classes or other employment during the PlanetArt workday. Applicants should have a minimum of one quarter/semester/trimester remaining in their studies after their internship concludes.

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must be local to or willing to relocate to Calabasas as we operate on a hybrid work model consisting of three days in office per week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) with the option of working remotely two days (Wednesday and Friday).

What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Project Managers to support the planning and execution of mobile/web projects
  • Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and requirements
  • Work closely with the team of Associate Project Managers and mobile/web QA testers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Assist in creating and maintaining project timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time
  • Monitor project progress and communicate potential risks or delays
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Creative and Content, to refine project scope and requirements
  • Collaborate with the QA team to ensure thorough testing of mobile/web applications
  • Assist in the identification, documentation, and prioritization of defects
  • Assist in creating, updating and maintaining project documentation in Confluence
  • Work closely with development and QA teams to help resolve project-related issues
  • Escalate issues to the Manager of Project Management when necessary

Requirements

What You Should Have
Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in business, analytics-related, comp science, math or related field
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Solid understanding of mobile /web technologies, platforms, and development methodologies
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with QA and testing practices for mobile/web applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a wide variety of audiences including technologists, executives, business partners and IT team members
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-departmentally
  • Covid-19 vaccine is required – reasonable accommodations will be considered

Benefits

Compensation: The base pay for this position is $19.00 an hour.
