Software Engineer (Terminal)

This position entails the ability to analyze and implementsolutions for technical problems based on requirements. Has the ability to work independently and aspart of a team to complete projects. Provideinnovation regarding sub-system design and implementation. Utilizetechnical knowledge and expertise in documenting, designing and developing gamingsystem applications.

ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Conductsanalysis of moderate complexity on programming problems concerning a sub-systemor group of application programs.

2. Contributesto the design, development, testing, documentation and ongoing maintenance ofthe company's software products.

3. Convertsdesign into a working application, based on the requirement specifications,limitations of the system and equipment, and coding standards.

4. Reviewsproduct and project requirements and provides technical input on productdefinition and project plans.

5. Creates and maintains the documentationrelated to software, such as functional specifications and the designspecifications.

6. Performsdebugging of programs and routines.

7. Conductsunit tests on sub-system modules.

8. Assistswith final system integration testing, software QA testing, and customeracceptance testing.

9. Workswith QA team to identify, document, and resolve issues.

10. Providessupport for the field installation and testing of equipment and software

11. Fluentin spoken and written English

12. The position will also require work directives fromabroad via email, chat applications, remote virtual videoand audio conferencing. live chats, screen-sharing, and other collaborativecapabilities.

13. Theposition will require some travel and interfacing with our customer. This willrequire new software requirements, support of customers internal testing and supportof production software. This may include field investigation of production operations

EDUCATIONand/or EXPERIENCE

1. Requiresa Bachelors Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science or equivalent work relatedexperience. 

2. A minimumof 2 years programming experience in developing Java software applications.

Development emphasis in the area of, Java 6+, GUI

design, SWING, multithreaded applications, and experience with both Windows and

Linux operating systems.
