The Marketing Research Analyst is responsible for developing data-driven storytelling, translating research and insights to serve as a foundation for our sales efforts. This role blends research expertise with marketing skills to bridge the gap between in-depth analysis and marketing transforming data into captivating narratives & insights to drive business success.
WHAT IS THE DAY TO DAY LOOK LIKE
- Be the point of contact, acting as strategic consultant to help drive revenue growth for the organization
- Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights and compelling narratives, validating client and business recommendations
- Collaborate closely with Lead Strategist to leverage market research & brand insights to strengthening our marketing narratives
- Analyze market trends across categories and industries, identifying opportunities to inform business approaches and strategic initiatives.
- Develop annual trend reports for key verticals-analyzing market and consumer data to uncover key trends & insights
- Conduct competitive audits to provide valuable insights for positioning against key competitors and to expand market share
- Own and be the point of contact for our brand lift study solutions working with internal teams and external vendors
- Create visually engaging presentations, reports, and other materials to effectively convey research findings and insights.
- Play a proactive role in key account planning and communicate key research findings and themes to sales teams and senior leads
- Support B2B Product Marketing team with research and insights for sales enablement efforts including support for thought leadership
- Curate and manage our research repository for platform, audience, reports and category-specific insights
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships to optimize reporting resource usage, continuously evaluating tools for alignment with business needs
- Deliver comprehensive training to ensure adoption of accurate research terminology and narratives.
WE ARE HOPING YOU HAVE
- 3-5 years experience in research, data analysis, and storytelling, preferably in a marketing or advertising agency environment.
- Experience turning research & insights into growth opportunities
- Strong knowledge of market research principles and best practices and experience with advertising research tools (e.g. ComScore, Nielsen Clear Decisions (Vividata), InstarTV (Numeris), Google Analytics)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and communicate insights effectively
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with a knack for crafting compelling narratives and presentations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with a strong attention to detail
- Passion for marketing, consumer behavior, and storytelling, with a curiosity to explore new ideas and approaches.
- Bilingual (English and French) an asset
