Payscale is seeking a Senior Corporate Attorney, Employment & Litigation to partner with every function across the business to protect the company, accelerate growth, and keep Payscale ahead of the regulatory curve.
Requirements
- JD degree; active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
- 5+ years of related experience, with a combination of law firm and in-house experience strongly preferred
- Proven track record of serving as a trusted employment law advisor to HR teams and business leaders, with the ability to translate complex legal requirements into practical guidance
- Expertise across a range of employment law disciplines, including Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, ADEA, WARN Act, NLRA, and state and local equivalents
- Experience managing litigation and disputes
- Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Excellent judgment and the ability to independently manage a diverse portfolio of matters in a fast-paced, remote-first technology environment
