Implementation Consultant (SaaS, Technical Project Management) – Remote | Client-Facing | System Deployments

Position Type: Full-Time, Remote

About the Role

We’re hiring an Implementation Consultant to lead end-to-end software implementation projects and ensure successful client outcomes.

This role combines technical execution, project management, and client-facing consulting. You’ll guide clients from initial setup through full adoption, ensuring systems are configured correctly, data is migrated accurately, and teams are fully enabled.

What You’ll Own

End-to-End Implementation

  • Manage the full lifecycle:
    • Planning → Configuration → Deployment → Optimization
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
  • Drive successful client onboarding and adoption

Client Consulting & Process Optimization

  • Analyze client workflows and business processes
  • Recommend best practices for system configuration
  • Translate business needs into scalable system solutions

System Configuration & Customization

  • Configure SaaS platforms to match client requirements
  • Customize workflows, automations, and system logic
  • Ensure systems are aligned with operational goals

Training & Change Management

  • Design and deliver user training programs
  • Create adoption strategies to ensure long-term success
  • Support clients through system transitions

Data Migration & Integration

  • Manage data migration projects from legacy systems
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and validation of data
  • Support integrations across platforms and APIs

Project Management & Delivery

  • Build and manage project plans, timelines, and milestones
  • Communicate status updates to stakeholders
  • Identify risks early and proactively resolve issues

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Conduct system testing and validation
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Ensure system performance meets expectations before launch

Documentation & Support

  • Create:
    • Configuration guides
    • SOPs
    • User manuals
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting
  • Deliver post-launch optimization recommendations

Requirements (Must-Have)

Experience

  • 3+ years in:
    • Software implementation
    • Technical project management
    • Implementation consulting

Core Skills

  • Experience with SaaS platforms and system deployments
  • Strong business analysis and process mapping skills
  • Excellent client communication and stakeholder management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving ability

Technical Knowledge

  • Understanding of:
    • Data migration processes
    • System integrations and APIs
    • Workflow automation and configuration

Nice to Have

  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.)
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms
  • Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems such as:
    • Salesforce
    • HubSpot
    • NetSuite
  • Experience with client onboarding or customer success roles

  • Meet with clients to review implementation progress
  • Configure systems and workflows
  • Troubleshoot technical issues
  • Coordinate data migration or integrations
  • Run testing and validate system performance
  • Update project timelines and communicate with stakeholders
