Job Description:
The Senior Vice President of Multi-Domain Defense Solutions is the senior executive responsible for shaping and executing the business development strategy, driving enterprise alignment, and delivering business results across Parsons’ portfolio of offerings that support the Golden Dome initiative—a multi-agency, multi-domain national defense effort focused on integrated missile defense and homeland protection.
This role demands a visionary leader with deep expertise in missile defense, space-based sensing and interceptors, command and control (C2), and homeland defense mission sets. The successful candidate will have a proven record of building and converting billion-dollar pipelines, leading large-scale captures (>$250M), and securing high-priority awards across the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and innovation-focused agencies (e.g., SDA, MDA, DARPA, DIU).

What You'll Be Doing:
Sales Performance & Growth Metrics:
Drive growth aligned to Golden Dome-related mission areas including space-based sensors, over-the-horizon radar, integrated air and missile defense, C2 platforms, cyber-electronic warfare enablers, and kinetic/non-kinetic effectors.
Achieve and exceed annual bookings targets, maintaining a book-to-bill ratio >1.0x.
Establish measurable capture and booking strategies aligned with corporate priorities and customer urgency.
Strategic Leadership:
Lead the Golden Dome Growth Strategy, identifying priority areas for investment, campaign development, and external engagement.
Shape the company’s posture to align with evolving Golden Dome acquisition pathways (e.g., MDA, SDA, DAF RCO, DIU, CSOs, OTAs).
Guide IRAD and technology roadmaps to enhance readiness for near- and long-term procurement windows.
Pipeline & Capture Management:
Build and manage a robust, qualified pipeline across Golden Dome-related efforts with a focus on $250M+ opportunities.
Lead capture teams through all phases—opportunity shaping, intelligence gathering, solutioning, teaming, pricing strategy, proposal development, and Black Hat/Red Team reviews.
Maintain real-time opportunity data within Salesforce to ensure reliable forecasting, reporting, and performance tracking.
Champion early gate reviews and enforce disciplined bid/no-bid decisions and win strategy development.
Partnerships & Market Positioning:
Cultivate strategic partnerships with primes, non-traditional vendors, and technology disruptors to enhance win probability and capability differentiation.
Oversee negotiations on teaming agreements, technical data sharing as needed.
Inform M&A assessments that advance competitive posture in Golden Dome mission areas.
Team Leadership:
Lead and grow a distributed team of business developers, capture managers, solution architects, and technical SMEs aligned to Golden Dome campaigns.
Promote a mission-first, high-performance culture grounded in collaboration, innovation, and diversity.
Provide mentorship and growth opportunities to next-generation leaders across the BD and strategy teams.
Key Relationships:
Reports to: SVP, Business Development, Defense & Intelligence
Internal: Collaborate with enterprise BD/capture teams, business unit leaders, and functional heads (e.g., Contracts, Finance).
External: Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Space Development Agency (SDA), U.S. Space Force (SSC, SpOC), U.S. Space Command, U.S. Northern Command, OSD (R&E), DIU, DARPA, AFRL, and other DoD/IC stakeholders tied to integrated deterrence and homeland defense.
Desired Outcomes:
Increased win rates and total contract value of awards tied to Golden Dome priorities
Successful capture of 1–2 marquee programs annually exceeding $250M in value
Strong, differentiated brand positioning for Parsons within the Golden Dome ecosystem

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Experience:
10+ years in Strategy, Business Development, Capture, Pricing, and Proposals within federal contracting, with a focus on D&I markets.
Proven success leading growth in complex organizations ($1B+), with revenue accountability of $500M+.
Track record of capturing and winning large-scale government programs ($250M+).
