Principal Consultant, Proactive Services (Unit 42)

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Principal Consultant to deliver proactive cybersecurity services, specializing in Cloud Security, Security Operations, Cyber Risk Management, and Artificial Intelligence. The role involves designing and implementing security operations programs, leveraging expertise in incident response, threat intelligence, and digital forensics to address modern cyber threats. The ideal candidate is passionate about cybersecurity and possesses strong analytical and communication skills.

Requirements

• 6+ years of consulting experience in SOC, security engineering, SIEM administration, and incident management.
• Deep technical knowledge in Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) platforms and SOAR technologies.
• Experience with cloud hosting providers like AWS, Azure, GCP, or a Cloud Application Security Broker (MCAS), Netskope.
• Knowledge of CASBs, Cloud Platforms and the dependencies around such an environment (WAF, SSO, Cloud Threats, API Security, Cloud Security Posture Management).
• Experience in cloud migrations (cloud to cloud, or on-prem to cloud).
