About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Video Editor to support our Australian clients in creating high-performing short-form content.
This is not a basic editing role. You will be responsible for producing engaging Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts that capture attention, drive engagement, and deliver results.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos (15–60 seconds) for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Add high-retention captions, subtitles, sound effects, and trending audio
- Apply fast-paced, engaging cuts and platform-native editing styles
- Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form clips
- Implement strong hooks (first 1–3 seconds) and retention-focused pacing
- Take feedback and revise edits quickly and accurately
- Stay updated with social media trends, viral formats, and platform updates
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in video editing
- Strong portfolio focused on short-form content (required)
- Solid understanding of social media performance, attention span, and viewer behaviour
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools
- Experience with After Effects is a plus
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to follow direction precisely
- Comfortable working remotely full-time (AU hours)
