As the Sr. Master Data Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the analytics team in ensuring the business has clean data across all systems. You will ensure exceptional process adherence as well as add to the company’s vision of an effective Master Data Governance discipline. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of Master Data Management and Master Data Governance best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Explore and spearhead the implementation of new tools and processes for master data management and help coordinate the capture of critical data by tracking data lineage across all data domains in a multi-subsidiary environment
- Oversee and coordinate a hybrid centralized/de-centralized Master Data governance framework
- Be a key player in instilling a “one source of truth” mindset across the organization by ensuring data is clean and up to date using reports and cross functional engagement
- Own the company’s master data (Vendors, Customers, Bill of Materials, Items, etc.) across NetSuite ERP, GS1, 1WorldSync and other data platforms to ensure data is mirrored across all internal and external sources
- Play a role in the company’s M&A integration projects by assisting with data migration efforts in the ERP and GDSN ecosystems and the governance rollout thereafter
- Exemplify “data as an asset” mindset by holding data accuracy in high regard and having a keen attention to detail
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
· 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in the CPG industry
· 3+ years of experience as a people leader
· GS1 US, GS1 Canada, 1WorldSync experience required, NetSuite a plus
· Experience implementing company-wide master data governance best practices
· Deep understanding of data lineage and importance of accurate master data entry into source system(s) for downstream reporting and operational excellence
· Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and time management
· Experience in Microsoft Excel, including but not limited to VLOOKUP and PivotTables
· Passion for learning new skills
Preferred Qualifications:
· NetSuite ERP, Microsoft Fabric, SQL querying
· Power BI report development and understanding of data modeling principles or strong capability/eagerness to learn
· CPG experience a plus
· Strong problem-solving and process-oriented thinking skills
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
