Description

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Systems Manager to join our team. As a Manufacturing Systems Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading a team that analyzes and interprets large datasets related to our production and maintenance processes. You will be responsible for identifying trends, patterns, and insights to help optimize our production operations and improve overall efficiency. Additionally, you will play a central role in minimizing downtime, reducing costs, and maximizing the efficiency and lifespan of our assets through optimization of our CMMS and maintenance systems. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills coupled with an analytical mindset, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve goals. Responsibilities

· In collaboration with site leaders, support all data analysis and systems requirements of the manufacturing facilities.

· Be a subject matter expert in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Redzone software applications.

· Conduct user training sessions to ensure proper utilization and plant expertise of the ERP and Redzone software applications.

· Develop and implement manufacturing strategies and systems to optimize efficiency and productivity.

· Collect, organize, and analyze production data from Redzone and other various sources.

· Create and/or maintain databases to store production, quality, and maintenance data.

· Develop and implement data models and algorithms to extract meaningful insights.

· Identify trends and patterns in production, quality, and maintenance data to uncover opportunities for improvement.

· Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to guide manufacturing processes.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven recommendations for improving production, quality, and maintenance processes.

· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

· Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate key findings to stakeholders.

· Ensure all facilities maintain comprehensive records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks using the existing CMMS.

· Conduct ad-hoc analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes.

· Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and production optimization.

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Data Analysis, Operations, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

· Five years experience in a food manufacturing environment.

· Ability to travel 50% - 75%

· Strong leadership and team management abilities.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.

· Proficiency in manufacturing software and systems including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Material requirements planning (MRP), Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, and Redzone.

· Experience leading an ERP implementation and/or conversion utilizing a formal Management of Change (MOC) process.

· Proven experience in data analysis and interpretation.

· Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, technologies, and best practices.

· Proficient in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.

· Excellent presentation skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
