About Our Common Home
We are an organization that works to broaden civic participation in building solutions to climate change. Our mission is to bring those who have been traditionally excluded from the climate movement into the conversation on their own terms - particularly communities with conservative or traditional values who often feel alienated from mainstream environmental discourse.
We believe that effective climate action must be inclusive and locally-driven. Rather than trying to persuade people to change their beliefs, we work to bridge the empathy gap by partnering with trusted local institutions and community organizations. Together, we develop culturally relevant narratives that help communities see how environmental stewardship aligns with their existing values and priorities.
