What you’ll be doing:

Design, build, and maintain RESTful and gRPC microservices using Java/J2EE, Python, and Golang for Marketplace Order Management, Fulfillment, and Product Catalog systems, collaborating with the Marketplace team to deliver fast, scalable, and reliable e-commerce capabilities. Lead partner integrations and ensure resilient, fault-tolerant order and fulfillment flows. Develop and maintain the Partner Portal for independent partner management of catalogs, pricing, and content. Apply AI tools and sophisticated algorithms to improve development efficiency and solution quality. Analyze end-to-end system architecture, inter-system dependencies, and data flows to ensure scalable solutions. Implement authentication, authorization, and security standards, including OAuth, SSO, and modern identity frameworks. Ensure code quality through detailed testing, regular code reviews, and adherence to established architectural and development guidelines.

What we need to see:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 5 + years of experience in microservices architecture developed using Java Enterprise Edition and Python, Golang, preferably with exposure to e-commerce platforms in Scrum/Agile environments.

• Experience designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services.

• Proven knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and performance optimization.

• Expertise in logging, monitoring, and observability using tools like ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).

• Strong understanding of authentication and authorization standards (OAuth, SSO, modern identity management).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail, with the ability to lead multiple development tasks in parallel.

• Demonstrate strong system build skills for scalable microservices with well-defined API contracts, fault tolerance, and cloud-native patterns (caching, retries, circuit breakers, async processing).

• Take ownership from building to production, covering data models, service boundaries, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and performance tuning, to ensure reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

• Proactively improve latency, efficiency, and stability using profiling, load testing, and efficient resource utilization, while implementing robust monitoring and automated recovery.

• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly learn new technologies and leverage AI-assisted tools to boost development speed and quality.
