We are seeking a skilled and motivated Learning Technologist to join our team. As a Learning Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of online learning experiences. Your expertise in Learning Management Systems (LMS), web development, and technical support will contribute to the success of our educational programs.
As a Learning Technologist, you will be responsible for:
- Work closely with Learning Designers to translate authoring documents into engaging online courses across multiple LMS platforms.
- Collaborate with the multimedia team to create new templates and mock-ups for innovative course designs.
- Maintain and enhance existing course templates, ensuring they remain up-to-date and functional.
- Implement necessary updates based on feedback and evolving requirements.
- Set up courses on various LMS platforms, including Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, NovaEd, and Brightspace.
- Manage LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability) accounts, tailoring solutions to meet client and project needs.
- Research and evaluate new LTIs to enhance the learning experience.
- Provide technical support for course-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving bugs.
- Collaborate with the term preparation team to maintain smooth course delivery.
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
- 1 year+ working with any Learning Management System as a designer or developer.
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS, including CSS3.
- Familiarity with Bootstrap for responsive design.
- Knowledge of LMS platforms such as Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, NovaEd, and Brightspace.
- Experience with tools like Celoxis, Zoom, and Slack.
