Delegate Sales Executive for Newton Media Ltd
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated delegate sales executive to sell registrations to paying delegates across our portfolio of events.
You'll be someone who is confident dealing with senior executives, great on the phone, ambitious and target driven. You'll need to be comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy and highly self-motivated as you will be working from home in a remote role.

What you’ll be doing
You will responsible for selling registrations to paying delegates across our portfolio of events. This will require you to identify, establish contact, educate and ultimately secure attendance at our events from senior Intellectual Property and/or Insurance industry figures.
Great relationship management skills and high levels of organisation are absolutely essential. You will need to demonstrate and effectively communicate a full understanding of our events, the content, the audience and the benefits attending to prospects. You will also need to be able to manage a highly organised personal pipeline, be able to effectively report and forecast business with a reasonable degree of accuracy to help the wider team make decisions regarding ongoing projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Achieve and exceed agreed revenue & headcount targets for each event
- Negotiate and secure multi-event participation wherever possible
- Build exceptional relationships with senior figures
- Utilise all possible channels of engagement with a high level of competency; phone, email, LinkedIn etc.
- Identify and maintain a realistic pipeline of key prospects and keep detailed records on the CRM
- Work independently to research a regular stream of new business
- Work collaboratively with the producers, the SPEX team and other relevant internal departments
- Negotiate confidently with prospects to minimise discount
- Maintain strong communication with VIP Guests to ensure they arrive on site
- Communicate effectively with the wider team and forecast with reasonable degree of accuracy to aid in decision making
- Prioritise objectives and effectively manage your time
- Accurate reporting and forecasting
- Be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Be willing to work outside of contracted hours occasionally when dealing with customers/events in different time zonese
