Role & responsibilities

The Senior Program Manager will lead the strategic rollout of a large-scale Revenue Cycle Management technology solution across complex healthcare operations. This role requires a hands-on leader who can translate business objectives into structured execution plans, align cross-functional stakeholders, and drive measurable improvements in financial and operational performance. Acting as the central point of coordination between executive sponsors, business teams, technical partners, and external vendors, this individual will ensure disciplined delivery, proactive risk management, and successful adoption of new workflows. The ideal candidate thrives in high-visibility environments, balances strategic thinking with execution rigor, and is deeply committed to delivering technology solutions that strengthen revenue performance and operational efficiency.
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of a multi-phase RCM technology implementation, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Partner with executive sponsors, business leaders, operations teams, and technical stakeholders to define scope, success metrics, and phased rollout strategies.
  • Develop and maintain integrated program plans, budgets, resource forecasts, and risk mitigation frameworks.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring performance, accountability, and adherence to contractual deliverables.
  • Facilitate governance structures, including weekly program reviews, steering committee updates, and executive-level reporting.
  • Drive change management efforts to support business adoption, workflow transformation, and user enablement.
  • Identify, assess, and proactively manage risks, interdependencies, and escalation pathways to maintain program momentum.
  • Establish clear accountability models, KPIs, and communication channels across cross-functional teams.
  • Leverage Microsoft technologies for structured tracking, reporting, collaboration, and executive insights.

You’re a Perfect Match If You Have:

  • 9+ years of progressive program or project management experience, including at least 5 years leading healthcare technology or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) implementations.
  • Demonstrated success delivering large, multi-phase system rollouts within complex healthcare environments.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end revenue cycle workflows, including patient access, coding, billing, claims management, and reimbursement processes.
  • Experience operating in consulting or client-facing delivery models, managing multiple stakeholders across business and technical teams.
  • Proven ability to define scope, success criteria, governance structures, and execution roadmaps for enterprise-level initiatives.
  • Strong risk management and resource planning capabilities, with the ability to proactively mitigate issues before they impact delivery.
  • Experience managing external vendors and ensuring alignment with program objectives, timelines, and contractual commitments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including Azure DevOps, MS Project, Power BI, Teams, SharePoint, and related collaboration tools.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or equivalent are strongly preferred.
