Circle Tel is a fast-growing startup serving the South African SMME market with affordable, resilient connectivity and IT solutions. We are seeking an ambitious, early mid-career Partner & Sales Manager to help us build and manage sales channels, develop strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth in our startup phase. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone eager to grow with the business and take on increasing responsibility as we scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Channel Development & Management
- Assist in identifying and onboarding new reseller and referral partners (e.g., accounting firms, business consultants, industry associations).
- Support the development and rollout of partner programs and incentive schemes.
- Maintain partner relationships and provide regular updates and support.
- Sales Execution
- Generate leads and close deals to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets aligned with Circle Tel’s growth plans and budget (R6.5m turnover target for FY26)123.
- Promote bundled, sector-specific solutions to SMME clients.
- Track sales pipeline and assist with reporting on sales activities.
- Strategic Partnerships
- Contribute to building alliances with technology vendors and industry groups.
- Support co-marketing campaigns and joint customer acquisition initiatives.
- Team Support
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing team to execute go-to-market campaigns.
- Participate in sales training and enablement activities.
- Market Research
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or relevant experience).
- 2–4 years’ experience in sales, channel/partner management, or business development (ICT/tech sector preferred but not required).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter, adaptable, and comfortable working in a startup environment.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Passion for technology and supporting small businesses is a plus.
