Netflix is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join the TV & Web Player Platform team. This team focuses on developing streaming video players for various devices and browsers, including Smart TVs, streaming sticks, and game consoles. The role involves testing innovative features like Live Streaming and Seamless Ads, ensuring optimal performance, and integrating testing solutions to maintain high quality. The SDET will lead technical direction for test automation, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Extensive experience in test automation, quality engineering, and/or software engineering
Exceptional proficiency in automated test development, preferably in JavaScript
Strong experience with CI/CD tools and test automation infrastructure
Proven ability to drive quality through experimentation and A/B testing
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Experience mentoring peers through code reviews
