Netflix is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to improve the latency between clients and their content delivery network (CDN). This role involves hands-on work with latency measurement, steering solutions, and reducing DDoS protection to enhance the quality of the customer experience. The engineer will work with various geo-distributed locations and collaborate within a cross-functional environment.

Requirements

Deep understanding of Internet protocols like TCP, TLS, HTTP and DNS.
5+ years of experience in C, C++, or Go.
Experience building and maintaining highly distributed, scalable, low-latency, fault-tolerant production systems.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Passionate about addressing customer pain points.
Motivation to work hard and solve problems.
